I've been playing it a lot lately...

Which did allow me to find a couple of exploits.

For example, an easy one is to take advantage of any quick multi-hit move and a simple Knuckle Duster. Which is especially good with the shooter weapon.

Why? Because there is a 10% chance of stun with each hit, and since the shooter is very fast and can hit very quickly, this means you can pretty much stun lock anything. Better yet, yet can equip more then one and there are items with better stun rates later on.

Another exploit?

You want to unlock any skill easily? Don't get time limit up as a skill and just go let time run out. If you have any daytime activity on, you can get any skill points you want. Even better is if you maxed out how many you can have and have taken advantage of daytime missions to unlock better daytime activities that can get more or get points in multiple areas.

Also...

You want to strengthen Servans? Easy. Get more of their items used to make their exact species, which can boost them into new and stronger forms and boost their abilities, not to mention you can use ones you don't need to give a bit of an IV boost. For support and healers, SP is a must. For defensive ones, go for HP and DEF. For attackers and spellcasters, use either HP and ATK for physical and SP and ATK for magical. Also, be careful of the abilities you are using if you do level them, and be sure to use Mark of Maturation to boost their level caps.

Another thing?

Easy enough. Want a ton of blood to level quickly?

Simple. Equip Arnice with 4 Vampire Bat/Giant's Arm and have her use her shooter form and get as many servans on your team with Augment Chain as possible.

Why? Augment Chain makes chaining attacks for blood bonuses easier, and using the shooter weapon can hit very rapidly from a distance, which is great for high-blood glowing enemies or boss enemies in general, since you can combo them for very high numbers. Also, make sure to take advantage of ailments like bleed, since it not only does damage like poison but also lowers DEF as well as stacking poison and paralysis on top of it, especially if you have any defense-piercing attackers like Macesaur who can deal colossal and repeatedly damage and multi-hit. Always use burst attacks that are offensive to do this that can reliably hit multiple times, have good crowd control, and can inflict ailments or pierce defense, since it makes even tanky enemies very easy. Of course, always have Aluraune, which you have at the start of the game, to heal your party. Also, don't forget to use SP Regen ability. Even one party member with it can regen everyone's SP reliably. Also, give as many of them life drain as possible, because it helps keep them alive and is great if they multi-hit enemies and can take advantage of bleed and the increased damage they can do with it on an enemy. Also, Arnice's knife weapon might be weak compared to her sword, but it reliably bleeds, so if you can't use the shooter weapon because of area of effect attacks (which are it's big weakness since shooting locks you in place as you fire and makes you pretty vulnerable to it) or because you lost a servan (since the shooting weapon does use of SP, though it still will fire with none, and you need it to bring them back in), then knives are pretty reliable to upset defenses of the opponent and then use the Weapon Chain ability with Arnice to hit with the sword and then the hammer.

If you can keep up the chain upon a glowing enemy or a boss, then you'll be rewarded with massive blood bonuses and then get leveled up pretty fast.

As for treasure hunting? Have a team dedicated to that which can also fight, since the the cat that can do it reliably is pretty weak by itself. Also, max it up and give it things like a 4 leaf clover or Old Gold Coin and watch for when it glows yellow as it digs and use it's burst to get more items. Sometimes, it gets what you need to make Servans which can be used for stat boosts, not to mention combine this with certain daytime event effects and with Arnice herself having luck gear on for treasure hunting excursions, and it's fun.

Also, don't worry about time limit. No, you don't have to worry about it with bosses, and it is actually helpful to have it run out since there's no penalty anyway and the system is built around benefiting from it anyways in numerous ways anyway, and having more does mean it is beneficial to grind, though less is sometimes recommended for taking advantage of the system which is easy to do since enemies only spawn at certain points and don't respawn unless you leave a part of a level and come back in anyway.
