Character Idea: Retro Redux

Retro Redux, as he calls himself, grew up during a simpler time when gaming was first getting big, handhelds were in their infancy, and Game World was booming from it's recovery from the fallout of the First Apocalypse.

Retro Redux came to love the games and the media that he grew up with. He watched, read, and played the 90's.

And then, as time went on...the things he loved started to disappear from what he knew and started to change into new and different things. Suddenly, game mechanics and character designs were changing, things he once loved no longer were around and were forgotten, fads that were once cool to him were disappearing, and worst of all...well...came the rise of people who took what he loved and started to make soulless cash grabs without care nor effort put into them and the reputation of the things he loved were at risk. And worse, there came the blatant greed and corruption of companies he grew up with and once loved. And then, the straw that broke the camels' back was when one of his favorite movies was made to pander to a group of people who hated on and reviled his culture and were making claims about people like him being 'neckbeards', 'no-lifers', 'nostalgiatards', 'manchildren' and 'beta cucks'.

He...didn't take it so well. Which is why in his country, he organized a movement known as '1st Gen', which was basically a group that was dedicated to returning Game World and all it's regions to perfection. At first, it started with a simple rallying cry to change things back to the way they were in the past, but then devolved into a terror group that came to hate everything and anything, good or bad, about Game World and the way it was now. Which led to them leading numerous hate campaigns and terrorist attacks against governments around Game World to force them to change back to the way they were before and create things in the style of the things they loved.

Of course, Retro came to see that everything around him in the world offended him for being flawed and imperfect and blamed it on the change of the times and the new atmosphere of the culture that left his ideals behind and moved on without him. So to this end, he studied science in order to create a robotic battle suit that is equipped the technology to turn everything to the most basic of pixels and drain all the color from the land, which he did to his entire country except himself. He plots also to create a massive device that can turn the entire world into pixels and drain all the color from everything and thus return the entire region of Game World to perfection.

In battle, his robotic suit is equipped with retro rocket technology that lets him and even move at high speed and transform into a space age fighting rocket ship that shoots lasers of various forms. He is also equipped with the power of Pixel Magic, which lets him alter the land and other beings and their attacks into pixels and even create monsters, magic attacks, and weapons via pixels, as well as set up defensive walls against attacks and altering the landscape to slow down enemies and prevent item use. He can also use a Deletion Shot attack to disable a battle command from an enemy in one shot.
